Tell 'em Mark from England said you can stay
SUTIVAN, BRAC.
Cars are parked in the inside lane but it transpires that they are shoppers. Which means that we are second in the queue, or rather we are first because the car in front was shopping as well. We're safely loaded along with a van behind us. Then there's a problem. The driver of the car next in line is nowhere to be found. It turns out that he's having lunch in a cafe opposite. Belatedly, he moves his car, the rest of the line can board and we sail on time.
The ferry lands at Sumartin in the south east. A lovely harbour setting for our lunch. I'd caught the hubcap whilst queuing so had to put it back on. My hands were covered in grease and dirt. The only washing facilities were in the sea!
We headed for the largest village, Supertar, but the campsite doesn't open until next Thursday. Along the coast to Sutivan. Here we find a half-built site. There is a guy called Mark from Stratford who seems a strange individual. He's been here for 10 months but won't tell us what he does. He tells us that the owners are at a function and that we should park anywhere we fancy. If anyone asks we're to say that Mark from England say it is OK.
We walk down to the harbour and enjoy a beer in the afternoon sun.
A home cooked dinner, a walk along the sea front, another stunning sunset and It's bedtime.
