Rain during the night had Paul bringing in the washing at 4am. It must be contagious this laundry lark.

Sat on the beach for an hour to get some sun. Checkout is at 12 so we make sure that we leave just before. Rosie feels that the price is too high for the standard of the site. She threatens to mention it on Park4Nite then realises that we don't know the name of the site, it isn't shown on the receipt.

The plan has changed. Rosie has studied the map and realised that we're better off going to Venice before Slovenia. We're now heading for the Istrian Province of Croatia.

Good roads take us quickly there, stopping at a LIDL to collect provisions for two days. Tomorrow is a bank holiday in Croatia.

A lovely site, the guy who greets us spent time in London and his father comes from Derby.

We spend the afternoon on the beach then enjoy pork, green beans in garlic and sweet potato.
