Ignoring No Entry Signs in Tittisee.

TITTISEE.

Decide to move on early and use the motorway for ease. Arrive at Tittisee about 11:00. Our lack of German helps as we totally ignore a road closed ahead sign and drive through roadworks just outside the campsite. Much to the astonishment of the workers. Looking at the diversion later, I saved us 30 minutes extra driving.

Fabulous campsite, there is even underfloor heating in the showers. The receptionist is lovely and everyone we meet on site is friendly.

The sun breaks through so we stroll around the lake. A thunderstorm breaks as we're in the village. All is not lost, a cheeky beer saves the day.

Have to shelter on the way back, as heavy rain falls again. This continues much into the night so we sit reading in the van.
