Deer Bridges and Dear Beer.

REDANGE ATTERT , LUXEMBOURG.

Up in time for the park run. A number of UK visitors including a girl from Pontefract. Good course, one lap in the woods. Encourage a German who stopped with a kilometre to go. Talked to him at the end, named Marco, along with an Irishman from Galway, now living in Newark.

We have to move on by 11, Marco explains that restrictions are in place becuse the Turkish labourers used to take over the park with whole lamb spit roasts.

It's a 3 hour journey to Luxembourg so we take a break at a signposted lake at Bostelsee.

Driving into Luxembourg we notice a change in the countryside, much flatter than we're used to. One surprise is that they have built bridges over the motorways to allow the deer to cross safely.

Arrive at the site at 4:30, the site is full, of Dutch whose bank holiday is this weekend, so we have to use the general car park. Walk into town for a beer, the most expensive of the trip, 2 pints and an Aperol costs 17.50 euro before tip. And, to add insult to injury, the swimming pool is closed for the Bank Holiday.
