Remember to Drive on the Left.

ELSTEAD, SURREY.

A grey miserable morning so we're not too disappointed at having to leave at 10am. We try the local roads but the poet is a long way from the town so have to resort to the motorway after all.

We're there in plenty of time and, in any case, the incoming ferry is late. They make up a little time in packing us on and we sail 20 minutes late.

It seems no time before the white cliffs come into view. It's difficult to comprehend that almost 10 weeks have go by so quickly.

We're breaking the journey home up by calling in at Elstead to see Pauline, Ann & Malcolm. And of course the Irish Wolfhounds.

It will be strange sleeping in a house again. Goodbye for now until the next stage of our adventure in July.
