Soaking In Saville.
LORA DEL RIO.
Heavy rain started about 6 o'clock this morning. It doesn't abate until mid afternoon. The city would look much prettier in the sun.
We decide to "pay" for our accommodation by buying breakfast. It's a busy cafe am,ist full. We think that it may double as a services from the nearby motorway. Two coffees, water and two tostadas total 12 euro. We feel that we have been ripped off.
There is a park and ride at a metro station near to where we filled with gas yesterday. Unfortunately, the car park is full. Rosie suggests the car park at El Corte Ingles. The spots are tight but we are able to park for free then catch then catch the bus in the city.
Walk to the cathedral taking in the shops along the way. Everything has an entrance charge so we make do with looking at the major attractions then walking back to the bus station.
It's OK folks, the tram has just left, Rosie is not in danger.
Our destination is at Lora del Rio, about 40 miles east of Seville. A good spot in a large town which seems to be poor but happy. We walk around town before settling on a local bar for tapas and wine (for some reason we couldn't buy a bottle but drank the equivalent in glasses). The food was different but excellent. Potatoes in aioli, calimari and slices of pork and chips. We chose the smaller portions but still felt satiated at the end.
